SDH-100 PGA2350 Damage? #273
|
So while assembling my SDH-100 card I made a lazy mistake in the worst possible place. I reversed the 8v supply tantulum and it died a smokey death upon power up. I replaced it and the power rails are now good...5v out of the main regulator and 3.3v on the PGA2350 test point. However, the Pi is not being detected properly when connected via USB. I haven't used this card before, but I'm assuming even without any S-100 CPU card installed, I should still be able to use the SDH-100 monitor, right? Btw, the micro SD does have a conf file on it... it's a fully loaded card direct from The High Nibble. Luckily, a new PGA2350 is only $12. Does this seem logically like a damaged cpu, or does anyone have any ideas as to other things I can test? Thanks |

The PGA2350 is supplied un-programmed.
The SDH-100 should reboot on completion and start up its firmware. |
