Unable to configure Slack integration

Some brief notes about how it was impossible to set up a Slack integration:

What I did

• I clicked on “Enable” (why is it a button and not an anchor tag? 😩)
• It appeared that a redirect to Slack happened before I had the chance to configure any options, as I did see a brief flash of the UI with a dropdown in
• the place I was redirected to after a brief flash of the UI was a Slack space that I am unable to add apps to, and when I clicked 'return to Sailhouse', I was presented with this error as JSON in the browser:
