Deleting a topic doesn't entirely delete all events for that topic without a full page refresh

Steps to reproduce:

1. Delete a topic that has recent events.
2. Without a full page refresh, navigate back to the app screen (the parent app of the topic you just deleted).
3. Observe that in the 'recent events' box, there are events with no name, but just a date!
4. On a full page refresh, these recent events are fully removed.

Updated the deletion UX across the app to require confirmation, and update local state properly!

Will double check here as it's a knock-on update
