Podverse syncs its podcast directory with Podcast Index. In order to identify and resolve why a feed is missing or out of date in Podverse, the first step you can do is visit Podcast Index and search for the podcast there.

A podcast may appear out of date or unavailable in Podverse if the creator changes or removes the RSS feed, makes the show exclusive to platforms like Spotify or Apple, stops publishing new episodes, or has hosting issues that temporarily break the feed. It can also happen am mod if the creator asks to have the show removed from the index or if Podverse is showing old cached data that needs a refresh. |
Podverse syncs its podcast directory with Podcast Index. In order to identify and resolve why a feed is missing or out of date in Podverse, the first step you can do is visit Podcast Index and search for the podcast there.
If the podcast is missing in Podcast Index, then you can add the podcast by visiting the Add Podcast page, then copy, paste, and submit the RSS feed URL for the podcast there. After about 20 minutes it should appear in Podcast Index, and within 24 hours, the podcast should automatically appear in Podverse. (We sync new podcasts from PI every 24 hours.)
