Why PRs for the register repo is shut.

approx about 2:30 BST, we was alerted that the repo was being spammed by new PRs via a network of accounts...

The maintainer team was alerted, and I used a bash script to spam close the PRs that were involved in the incident.

Due to the over 400 PRs in an hour, and the fact this seems like a coordinated attack... we have closed PRs for safety...

If you already submitted a PR, we will review it like normal and merge them.

Anyone who wasn't involved did not lose their PR.

Hi all,

Just because I've had a few people email me personally about this, and the Discord has also had the question. As far as I'm aware, we're awaiting GitHub Support on what they want to do, and the PRs will be open when we can.

I'm only a PR Reviewer, and was the person that alerted Maintainers after I was alerted myself, so my information may be out of the loop, however, when I know updates, I will keep this thread updated.

I also want to remind people that begging for PRs to reopen, or spamming emails to any staff member (PR Reviewer or Maintainer) will not speed up the process.

Current open PRs will not be forgotten about, and will be reviewed when the team can.
