Creating Components Is Not Working + Missing Atomic Button Features

Hello Elementor Team,

I'm currently testing Editor V4 and have encountered several issues that are affecting my workflow:

1. Components Cannot Be Created

When I try to create a new component from an Atomic Element, the component is not created. The action either does nothing or fails without any visible error message.

2. Atomic Button Missing Icon Option

The Atomic Button widget does not provide an option to add an icon. In the previous button widget, icons could easily be added before or after the text, but this functionality appears to be missing in the Atomic Button.

3. Custom CSS Panel Does Not Open

The Custom CSS tab/panel is not opening for elements. Clicking on the Custom CSS option has no effect, making it impossible to add element-level custom styles through the editor.

Additional Notes

While investigating the issue, I noticed multiple console errors, including:

Missing Elementor-generated CSS files returning 404 errors.
REST API errors (rest_no_route).
Editor V4 warnings related to settings objects not being found.

Could you please confirm whether these are known issues in the current Editor V4 build or if there are recommended troubleshooting steps?

"Create component" does nothing.

"Save as a template" works.

There are no errors in the Console or Network tabs. Variables and classes are working fine.

Unfortunately, this has forced me to pause client work. I expect a production release to be more reliable than this, especially when it affects core functionality.

I have the same issue unfortunately. I also had a problem with importing templates. It seems you can't properly import a component, and I am getting alerts that something is "Not found". After some research, it seems Elementor can't find certain components.

In my case, the import also created multiple duplicates of pages, classes, variables and components. The "Not found" alerts were already there from the start when importing templates, including when opening a completely new page. I also disabled all other plugins, but the issue remains.

What's also strange to me is that this discussion started back in June, and there still doesn't seem to be any response from anyone at Elementor. Is this a known issue, and is there a fix or workaround planned?
