Hi SkyTrade team,
I’m Chaimae, a Web3 and RWA marketer applying for the Marketing role. I went through the onboarding and address-claiming flow on app.sky.trade and wanted to share some structured feedback and ideas from a “property owner first, crypto-native second” perspective.
1. Overall impression
The core narrative is strong: “turn your unused airspace into income” and “connect property owners with drone operators”. The value prop is genuinely disruptive and the concept is well supported by your website, blog and investor/social proof.
In the app, the high-level journey of:
landing → address search → defining airspace → confirming → claim
is clear enough for a crypto user, but can feel intimidating for a typical US/UK homeowner who:
My suggestions focus on making the flow simpler and safer-feeling for that person.
2. Make the entry point “What is my roof worth?” instead of “join a platform”
For non-crypto property owners, the most powerful hook is not “claim your air rights on-chain”, it’s:
Concrete ideas:
This reduces cognitive load: first they understand the upside, then they’re more willing to complete a more complex flow.
3. Trust-first, crypto-second onboarding
Right now, the product, brand and token/points aspects are mixed together. For a homeowner, that can trigger “this looks like an airdrop farm” rather than “this is a serious legal/financial product”.
Suggestions:
Separate personas at the first decision point:
On the property-owner path:
Add a very visible reassurance near any wallet/crypto step:
This alone will reduce drop-off from “skeptical but curious” owners.
4. Address & airspace selection: hand-holding for “non-technical” users
From the perspective of a homeowner, the map interaction can still feel unclear:
Ideas to reduce friction:
Add a 3–4 step visual progress bar through the claiming journey:
When they select their address, show a clear, highlighted “this is the area we are talking about” with simple language:
Add microcopy for complex cases (apartments, condos, HOAs) with a CTA:
This kind of hand-holding matters a lot more for “normal” owners than for airdrop farmers.
5. Social proof & education inside the app, not only on the website
Your main website already has strong social proof (investors, partners, blog content). Many owners, however, will enter directly via a link or ad and land on the app without seeing the homepage.
Suggestions:
This builds the confidence needed to finish the flow.
6. Growth experiments specifically for US/UK property owners
Here are a few experiments I’d run to drive claims in US/UK markets and validate channels/personas:
Hyper-local pilots per city / ZIP code
Partnership path with property managers and HOAs
Referral loops around “corridors of claimed airspace”
7. Why this matters
For crypto users, the current UX is already “good enough”: they’ll tolerate friction, they understand tokens, and they know how to navigate Web3 products.
For a mainstream property owner – who doesn’t wake up thinking about air rights, drones or Solana – the bar is different:
By shifting the first screens to “calculator + trust + clarity” and deferring complexity, SkyTrade can:
Happy to refine these ideas or help design experiments in more detail.
