On-the-fly filter for displayed layer data

I have several vector layers with data via remote urls.
The data covers a big geographical space, but I'm only interested in a small subset of the data.

So the idea is to have a filter option where one can filter the data inline:
a) geographically by a bounding box, polygon, circle or a shapefile
b) by values in data fields

Of course one could always pre-process remote data first externally and then load that data into geolibre, but maybe an in-app filter would also be a nice-to-have.

Example:

This remote data displays features over a big geographical space. But lets say I'm only interested in data from certain countries i.e. Mongolia and only want to display features that are within that country.

Real-world example to make it clearer:
I load this remote url into geolibre: https://firms.modaps.eosdis.nasa.gov/api/kml_fire_footprints/russia_asia/24h/c6.1/FirespotArea_russia_asia_c6.1_24h.kmz

This data kmz contains 6 seperate layers.
Also important here: The data is dynamic and changes over time.

So I have this kmz loaded into geolibre and have applied my own styles to each layer.
Now I want to reduce the displayed data to countries or regions. I have shapefiles (.shp) for countries or regions as well.
Lets say I want only the data within Mongolia. So I imported a shapefile.zip for Mongolia (containing shp, shx, dbf, prj, cpg) - see attachment

So how would I filter (or clip) the displayed kmz data so I only see features within Mongolia? And again, as the kmz data is dynamic and I auto-refresh/sync it every 30min or so I need a solution that automatically filters/clips the displayed (or processed) data.

P.S. If its not possible thats ok, I can always pre-process the data externally if needed.

Processing - SQL Workspace - Select Engine: DuckDB - Past the following script - Run - Add as query layer. Then set up auto refresh for both the KML and SQL query layers.
