Proposal: "Ask the docs" answered by the reader's own model (Ollama-friendly, no server)
#1450
Open WebUI's readers already run their own models, so the docs could answer questions with those models instead of a hosted chatbot.
I built @leuria/docusaurus (Apache-2.0): an "Ask the docs" panel that sits next to your existing local search and answers from these pages with source links, using the reader's Ollama / LM Studio / ChatGPT / Claude. No API key or backend on your side, and questions never hit your infra. It also allow users to use the browser model through Prompt API (Chrome).
It's really simple to implement, only a line in your config.
npm install @leuria/docusaurus
plugins: [["@leuria/docusaurus", { search: true, suggestions: ["How do I get started?"] }]]
