They already work (when entered from retail mode, not in true debug mode). The "debug mode" in this screenshot you posted is actually called cheat mode |
|
Could you please elaborate on how OpenGoal addresses this cheat mode? What steps are required to activate this feature within OpenGoal Jak 3? |
|
the same as on PS2 |

You can also just boot the game into the real debug mode via the launcher with Advanced > Play in Debug Mode. And then open the full debug mode with L3 + Start. The one you get via the button combination is not only tedious, but a very stripped down version. |

That is great to know, xTVaser. I'll try enabling the full debug mode next time I play Jak 3 on OpenGoal. Does that mode work with all 3 games? Thank you! |

The debug mode will work the same way in all the Jak games, also accessed the same way. Also, for the picture you provided for cheat mode is incomplete; specifically, the last two buttons for part two are missing. You can read about the activation and usage of cheat mode here: https://jadtech.miraheze.org/wiki/Cheat_Mode. Good luck and have fun! |
Uh oh!
There was an error while loading. Please reload this page.
The button combination cheats/debug mode features were available for the PS2 on Jak 1, 2, and 3, and when enabled the character could fly, float, have exponentially more precursor orbs, or metalhead skull gems. Is this going to be a feature added to OpenGoal? I haven't seen anyone post about it and I really would like this to be a feature.
Thank you!
