Node is not showing up.

The bot seems to work... It downloads based on the !ipfs !ipfs480 ect. says it pins.. but then when we try to check for node on another machine or even use a ipfs gateway nothing shows up. any idea of what we could have done wrong?

also im cool with the Bot just downloading and NOT deleting cause then i could just do a BULK pin on my own in Windows. what would need to be changed to kill the pin/file delete from the bot?

2. To prevent bot from deleting original downloaded files just set rmOriginal to false in config.json file.

It looks like it... i think we are just doing too much... but I will get it figured out somehow... I have a friend helping me out on all this so hope we can get it figured out...

This seems to be an issue with forwarding / firewalls. Create a unique textfile and pin it. Then try to find that file via a node. Another tip, Use another p2p client like Deluge to Test your port and see if it's open. Set a high port. These are some options to gain what i call "Full Connectivity" with IPFS. short guide how to port forward Once you have connectivity, you can check the health of your IPFS file. ipfs-inactive/faq#153
