Base2026 Roadmap

Base2026 is a free, open-source research product at https://base2026.dev/. It connects a professional question to selected public practitioner videos, attributed searchable passages, original links and source context. Selection improves retrieval and context; it does not certify that a recommendation or claim is true.

This roadmap describes the public product sequence and its hypotheses. It is not a deployment receipt, a fundraising statement, a traction report, a ranking promise or a funding guarantee.

Now — Free evidence search and tools

  • Improve Evidence Search, Source Diversity Check, Source-backed Brief, navigation, mobile use, source explanations, attribution and correction paths.
  • Keep the free WordPress Evidence Sidebar, public API and stateless read-only MCP interface available as current developer surfaces. MCP is part of the product surface, not a future roadmap item.
  • Keep selected public practitioner material searchable as attributed passages with original links and context. The founder and team select creators for practical relevance, usefulness and provenance; Base2026 does not accept paid creator placement or creator applications.
  • Preserve the public/private boundary and the correction, removal and source policy paths. The investor overview, public roadmap and authored factory scenario are live; future commercial milestones remain hypotheses.

Next — Repeatable professional workflows

  • Test a proposed commercial pilot for small SEO practices that repeatedly make client research decisions. The test would examine repeat use, willingness to pay and the effort required to deliver useful research.
  • Keep the hypothesis explicit: it is unproven, with no shipped paid plan and no claim of traction, ROI or funding.
  • Improve provenance labels, public change history, machine-readable manifests and quality benchmarks. Expand maintained workflows only after distinct user jobs and evidence support are clear.

Exploring — Commercial integrations

  • Consider additional public source platforms, developer integrations, shared research and paid workflows only after the free product shows repeated use and responsible delivery remains workable.
  • Any future layer must retain useful free access, source attribution, correction rights and the public/private boundary.

Product boundary

The public /factory/ route is a separate English playable authored Scenario. A private local AgencyOS snapshot UI exists as an operational view for the project; the AgencyOS database and implementation are not published here and are not a separate startup release. The scenario and the private operational view do not turn internal operations into public product data.

How progress is judged

  • People return to complete another research task.
  • Sources remain attributable, useful and correctable.
  • Professional users identify additional value without requiring recurring bespoke research.
  • Operating cost and editorial effort remain workable at the observed level of use.

Corpus supply, publication activity, QA, directory submissions and accepted discovery requests are separate from external use, retention, revenue and commercial value.

Intentionally out of scope

Base2026 is not a video host, downloader, raw transcript dump, universal TikTok index, private-data search engine, real-time brand-monitoring suite or a promise of search rankings, AI citations or recommendation truth. It does not currently promise a separate public AgencyOS startup release, paid creator placement or creator applications.
