Extend depexts availablity search to all platforms

Now that #6489 is merged, availability check that were previously too costly to do at availability check time is now doable.

For example:

• Homebrew: Check for available packages with homebrew #5372
• openSUSE: Virtual packages are not supported on Suse  #6426 (comment)
• etc.
