Hi!

Great project and really well done w/ the command line interface.

I'm working to import some sample issues from PT to Linear and it seems to start and go ok but has issues uploading file(s).

I just get:

And I'm not sure how to troubleshoot that. Do you have any tips/pointers?

Sidenote: the API key seems to be Settings -> Security & Access -> Get Personal API Key. The docs indicate to go to 'API' but that only has Oauth Apps or Webhooks as options to create.

Hey @ryan. Thank you! Sorry I did not see this Issue until now. Thanks for the heads up on locating the API key in Linear. They may have rearranged their settings since I wrote that, or maybe I was just wrong :)

As far as your file upload issue, I'm not entirely sure. Could be some sort of corrupted file, or maybe a max file size? If you don't already, you can try setting ENABLE_DETAILED_LOGGING=true in your env and that might give you some more insight.

The easiest thing you could do to get past this is to identify the file and just remove it from your pivotal export folder while you run the importer. Then afterwards, you could attach that file to the created Linear issue manually.

@rylanb @nverges See #30. I have fixed some issues that I found while running the importer and the file upload is one of those.
The reason is that File and Blob are not present natively in the Node engine, so it would be necessary a library that provides those classes. I ended up removing the File and Blob check since the only place that calls the upload function always passes an object.
