How to get transform working with useAsyncQuery

Hi, I'm attempting to run a simple transform method after returning a query but it's not working. Is there anything specific I need to do to get it to work?

I'm trying something like this

  const { data, error } = await useAsyncQuery<T>(query, {
    id: moduleId,
    transform: transformMethod
  });

  function transformMethod(queryResult){
    // Copy readonly object before making changes
    let res = deepCopy(queryResult);  
    res.backgroundColor = res.backgroundColor?.toLowerCase();
  
    return res;
  }

figured it out, needed to have the transform in it's own method

  const { data, error } = await useAsyncQuery<T>(
{
  query,
  variables: {   id: moduleId}
},
{
    transform: transformMethod
});
