At least on GitHub, the repository can be renamed, so link can be replaced by another repository. Nurl should warn about this.
This is maybe okay for repository names rename (e.g. https://github.com/lambdalisue/fern.vim), but when the author changes their name, someone else could host a new repository on the same URL with malware.
Some examples for testing: NixOS/nixpkgs@395d9b6#diff-378e805ea9bcf5db689834be1cab43048cad886b471e5ed2a9947d7e9fa7b70d
P.S. figsoda please return
