Tauri updater

I just checked the tauri.conf.json file, I just wanted to say it'd be great if you use tauri updater plugin so users get updates automatically. :)

Thanks for the suggestion! I looked into Tauri Updater, and unfortunately we cannot support automatic updates reliably across all of Firelink’s current distributions for the foreseeable future.

The main complications are:

• macOS builds are ad-hoc signed and not notarized. Without an Apple Developer account ($100 yearly payment), we cannot provide the trusted, seamless Gatekeeper experience users would expect.
• Windows has both installer and portable ZIP versions. Portable installations can be moved anywhere and have different update/data-handling requirements.
• Linux is distributed as AppImage, .deb, and .rpm. Tauri Updater is suitable for AppImage, but it does not automatically update package-managed installations.
• We would also need signed updater artifacts, persistent signing keys, update metadata, release-workflow changes, and extensive testing for interrupted or invalid updates.

Tauri Updater itself is not impossible, but implementing it for only some packages would create an inconsistent and potentially confusing experience. For now, Firelink will continue checking GitHub Releases and asking users to download the appropriate package manually.

We may revisit this if we narrow the distribution formats and obtain the Apple signing/notarization setup required for proper macOS updates.
