JSR 305 was never completed. Meanwhile JSpecify has developed an improved specification that has been widely adopted as the new industry standard.

Just changing the package for every annotation was probably not what you wanted.

e.g, @Nonnull String[] args meant "an array that is not null, of Strings", but @NonNull String[] args now means "an array, of Strings that are not null".

Putting @NullMarked on the module/package and then noting the @Nullable exceptions is probably the better plan.
Edit: although I see there is quite a lot of code that isn't annotated at all, so perhaps that is too big a task right now.
