Dear developers,

I’m incredibly grateful for the interest in UUVPN, as evidenced by the numerous forks of the project. It’s heartening to see so many developers engaging with the codebase. However, I’ve noticed that despite the high number of forks, there have been very few contributions back to the project, such as bug reports, pull requests, or other forms of collaboration.

Maintaining an open-source project is a labor of love, but it can be disheartening when the community primarily takes without giving back. I had hoped to see more active participation, especially from developers in the Chinese community, given the significant interest shown through forks. Contributions like reporting bugs, suggesting improvements, or submitting code changes are vital to keeping the project alive and improving it for everyone.

I want to encourage anyone using or forking UUVPN to consider contributing. Whether it’s reporting a bug, suggesting a feature, or submitting a pull request, every small effort helps make the project better for all. Let’s work together to build something truly valuable and sustainable.
