RCM Serial Table is Incorrect

I'm not a switch expert by any means, but I just decided to try and mod my old switch today for fun. My switch serial number is XAW40012467095, which according to the website (and the thread it links to) is a patched serial. However, I was able to boot the switch into RCM, install hekate, and now I embark on my quest of getting Slippi running on the switch. That is to say, the switch was not patched. I'm not sure if any of the other serial ranges are wrong, but the XAW4 line definitely is.

have you had custody of this switch from initial purchase to now?
if you looked at the serial on the bottom of the shell, there's a possibility it might have been shell swapped which would make the shell serial wrong.

Also, if you go into system settings, does the serial there match the one on the console?

Yes, I've had this switch for its entire lifespan and the serial from settings matches

Hm interesting. I guess we will have to expand the range. Looking back, I can see someone who had an XAW400122XXX that was unpatched, but it appears it was unnoticed.
