How hard is the 4GB free requirement? #732
|
So the readme says this requires 4GB of free memory. I understand by that that a system with 4GB won't be enough. What happens if I install in a system with leaa memory than that (but has swap)? Will this run every time I upload a supporter file? I have a personal instance in a server with 2GB, where only a few photos and videos per day are uploaded. Would I be able to use it if it swaps or would it be completely unusable? Thanks! |

As far as I remember, the 4GB requirement includes some wiggle room. So, if you have swap / nothing else running, 4GB might be workable. I'm sceptical about 2GB, though. In the end I suggest you try it out and report back here :) |
