Feature request: Tone-mapping for HDR video

Hello,

Is it possible / easy to tone map images from HDR videos? This feature would be very useful with increasing popularity of DV / HDR content. The DV content comes out overly green/purple and the HDR content comes out washed out. I feel like a perfect world would support both, but given DV licensing restrictions a more practical request may be to tone-map just HDR (+ the HDR fallback for DV profiles that have one).

I like the idea to Support this but unfortunately that's something that is not supported by the library used by mt to get the stills from the videos.

You might have some luck requesting that over there https://gitlab.com/opennota/screengen from what i understood that should require a different implementation of the frame grabbing process involving passing it through libavfilter. That might not be that trivial.
