To get started, comment below with a short intro and tell us what you are making with OpenShorts.
What is new
OpenShorts now has a hosted version at openshorts.app.
A lot of you asked how to use it without setting up API keys or installing anything, so we put it online. You open it in the browser and start making clips. No Gemini key, no config files, no Docker.
We also moved it to a server with a GPU, so it runs a lot faster now. Videos that used to take a while are done quickly. And you can now paste a video link and it handles the download and processing for you.
The open source version stays free and you can keep running it on your own machine with your own keys, that is not going away. The hosted one is for people who would rather not install anything and want it to be fast.
Give it a try and tell me what breaks.
