I have just found your project and it look like you would be able to help me. I have a dl1000 and it does not have a capability to log its runs. Int can only be flashed on a bench. Si i have designed my own logger of rpm, tps, iap, and afr. But i ma uable to convert my txt log file to a wolich Racing compatible format. Maybey your program is capable to do it. I did a conversion of your log filles to csv files and it gave me a list of all variables that are my bike uses. I can send you this list of variables.

Obviously everything is possible but when comparing the R1 and S1000R files I could load and view the R1 file but not the S1000R file. The formats are at a minimum manufacturer/brand specific and if woolich doesn't see the line prefix that it's expecting then it won't load.
I only have a license for the MT09SP
I wasn't able to fully decode the S1000R because I couldn't view it and manipulate it.
This would be that on steroids. I would need to start with a some suzuki files from say a gsxr 1000 or 750 and decode that before I could work out how to construct one.

I have loaded an r1 log file in too my software with dl1000 bin file and i allowed me to do it. But the data was a total garbage.
This is the first 2 lines of the csv file when i converted your log 14 using dl1000 defenitions

I have free bin files for some gsx-1000 from 2007 and the conversion looks exactly the same.

I would need to find a log file from a GSX-r 1000-600 from middle 2000s to modifie and see the changes.

Approaching it from a different perspective... What benefit are you hoping to get from it? I'm presuming autotune because otherwise it's just pretty graphs? You would need to be sure that autotune works in the woolich software for your bin. There's a chance it doesn't.

But yeah. I would need a variety of suzuki log files as a starting point for bikes that are license free in the software.

Why do you need to open it in Woolich if its just a log file? Whats the output of your made logger? If its just a standard , delimited csv theres a heap of different progames that should be able to read it..

But im wondering how you went about capturing data and logging it!~! please do tell

I made an arduino logger with onboard Map sensor, 3 rpm inputs, tps, and AFR input from a wideband controller. It can read rpm from coil, VR crank sensor or hall sensor. The data is saved on sd card with txt file, and there is an option to connect it to pc with cable or bluetooth and see curent data on a small program i wrote in python. Im curently working on sending the whole afr loged map to txt file and then import it to excel to work on the data. I can import the fuel maps to excel and write a formula to alter the injection time depeding on the afr readout.

WOW very nice! How is it connected to the sensors? directly or via OBD? Ive been looking into the same thing well when i say looking.. looking to find someone who has done it already.. as my coding skills are at a level where i hardly ever manage to even compile and build software lol,.., Id love to hear more about your project..

My bike does not have OBD so i have to relay on attaching cables to the bike. The sensor to connect to is the TPS and crank signal or negative ignition coil lead. I am no coder myself. I only do easy stuff. I try too learn as i go along but at my age(45) it is getting difficult.
I was able to read data from a can-bus in a car but that was to make additional gauges.
With can-bus bikes the logging device would be rather easy.
I also did a cruise control for my bike so i learned most during that project.

Age isn't a restriction. I'm over 50. Time becomes the restriction LOL.

If aliexpress can hurry up and send me the euro5 connector i'll do an OBD2 reader using arduino. I have a sneaking suspicion that the woolich logger isn't anything special and that it would be great to make something that everyone could use.

The way I see it is that generating a woolich compatible file means you can use autotune. The biggest hurdle is knowing what the format needs to look like. The second biggest hurdle is reverse engineering the checksum algorithm. I'm hacking that at the moment.

I git the Excel file worked out. Now. I need to wait for spring to test all things.

I suppose the format is the same for every bike. The only differance is the bytes used for each data and probably same another info in the header. I was able to open r1 file on dl1000 tune and it decoded the data.byte is a byte.
