Hi, my game crashes when a guard has a shield in his off-hand slot and a spear in his first slot. It's trying to defend against a stele.
I only tested this on 1.21.11.
(Perhaps it's worth making it so the slot is blocked when he's holding a spear.)
As I've discovered, this doesn't just happen with a spear; it also crashes when the guard has a shield in his first hand and a weapon in his second.
