locked in the start screen several times

So, it happen to me to end up in a screen where I could not get the app back without "reinstalling".

This happen when I installed the app and first i put a wrong address:
"https://chat.disroot.org" it happens that chat.disroot.org ssl certificate is failing.. somehow the app went into a screen, and there was no option to leave this screen. I kept on hitting "Try again" and it stayed in the same screen.

Then I removed the app.. installed again from f-droid..
and put a new address.. "https://webchat.disroot.org".. well the app jumped into the website where disroot is serving conversejs.. and was never able to get out of that screen, unless uninstalling/reinstalling.

anyways i was then able to test the app, the user experience is a bit slow for a smartphone. wouldn't it be possible to make a native app instead of a webview? And why is the pod needed anywayz? I got a bit confused about it, i thought movim was just another xmpp client ;)
