Is there a way to reliably reproduce the issue?

• app not got focus
• columns with free space to right
• wait until dark mode triggers?

It has happened multiple times to me, but I cannot reproduce it by triggering transition manually.

Yeah, I've seen it too, but still can't figure out how to reproduce it to actually fix.
