Compilig the source code

I am unable to compile the source code. One minor issue is a reference to StyleCop.Analyser and stylecop.js, but apart from that, interface IVectorizedSearch cannot be found (search.cs line #35). ??

Hey! Good catch! I believe the upstream has updated from Semantic Kernel and it looks like Limit has been renamed to Top. I will create a fix and also look into getting the stylecop config put up in the repo as well

Fixed! Try the new code out. I added an example appsettings.json that you will need to replace with keys from an Azure OpenAI deployment. If you need any help setting that up, let me know!

No changes as far as I'm able to check. Pulled and compiled SK into external, then tried to compile the project, still interface IVectorizedSearch cannot be found (search.cs line #35).

I sent the changes into the main branch so if you haven't already, try doing a pull to get the latest PR merge. Also make sure SK is pulling from the upstream branch feature-vector-search. The demo project uses the new vector search features that were not merged into SK main branch at the time so our project git submodules it. You can get the correct version of SK in the external path by doing git submodule init and then git submodule update

Oh, that's a weird error! I cannot reproduce on my end but ToListAsync should be brought in by SK. Try using git submodules rather than cloning directly (although I don't know if that will help). I believe ToListAsync comes from System.Linq.Async so maybe try adding that as a dependency

You could also try building SK after cloning it by doing this and seeing if there is something wrong with your install:

cd external/semantic_kernel/dotnet
dotnet build

Also, maybe try to check you are using net8.0 and have all the installed requirements for dotnet
