When annotating a list of lipids using this R package or doing the same on the website (this link) I noticed that some features are annotated with an asterisk on the online platform and missing when using the R package using the function RefMet::refmet_map_df(). See screenshot below.
The website explains that those features "(*An asterisk in the 'Standardized Name' column indicates the annotation in the 'Standardized name' column is compliant with
the RefMet standard nomenclature format, even though that particular metabolite species is not present in the RefMet database)".
Can we still get those "starred" results somehow when using the R package? That would be really useful.
