Suggestion: Run marmot through jepsen tests

I just learned that the famed jepsen tests has an opensource framework/toolkit that you can run yourself: https://github.com/jepsen-io/jepsen (I thought it was just something the guy did on his own for specific dbs).

Perhaps it might be useful to try running marmot through it to test the gossip protocol?

Good suggestion feel free to setup a test bed, open to PRs. I believe true version might required AWS credits too to run it on real hardware
