<b>Accountant Group to Get Charter Wednesday Night</b><br>Idaho Statesman March 12, 1961</center><br>
Alfonso G. Pia, director of the mechanized accounting division and data processing center for the LDS church at Salt Lake City, will be in Boise next Wednesday to present a charter to a newly-organized Central Idaho Chapter of the National Machine Accountants association.
Dick Ledyard, president of the local group, said Saturday that Pia is national vice president of the association and has been nominated to be its next president.
<br><br>Pia Served in various accounting and data processing capacities for the U. S. Navy Bureau of Supplies and Accounts, the War Assets administration, the Army's Ninth Service command and the E. I. DuPont company before his employment by the LDS church. The charter presentation will
be held at the Hotel Boise at 8 p.m., following a dinner.
