Possible to lock horizontal scrolling

After zooming in on a page, I would like to be able to lock the current horizontal scrolling, keeping the viewport intact while paging through the document (I use vertical scrolling for that).
Perhaps implemented as an optional button on the bottom bar to lock/unlock this.

This would be perfect. I just discovered Orion viewer.
When moving through pages of a book I have only text on the right but I have to scroll each time I move to a new page. It would be so good if Orion could remember the scroll from last page. Also instead of draging the whole page It would be nice to just tap on the screen for the next page. Now It does not work since Orion thinks I want to see the remainder of the same page instead of moving to the next page. It takes 4 taps to move to the next page and then I always have to scroll to see the text. The ultimate would be to be able to set scrolling for a page and then just tap and then the scrolling will be kept or for some books that have text alternate right and left, be able to set two pages one left aligned and one right aligned. After a new chapter there are often some pages that does not conform, so be able to start over with left right aligned also after that break. e.g. have a button to start and stop the sequence again. button <next is aligned "left"> and you press it to start again from right aligned.

You can lock the scroll by disabling "Touch move" under "Controls and Behavior" but if you do that, there'll be a massive delay on small steps like slowly moving on screen.
It's so annoying not having an option to lock the scroll.

Imo it'd be better if it acted like a browser would when zoomed in by default and having a lock icon in the quick menu

I was looking for same thing, seems like they made that, but not merged/published yet (#111), so hope they do that some time soon
