[Bug] No data in Matomo since 25 August

Hi,

Since 25 August, we have not been receiving any data in Matomo, even though we can clearly see real-time data. We have checked, and data collection on the site is working fine. Could you let me know if there is an incident or if something has been resolved?

Thanks for reporting this. The fact that real-time data is visible suggests that tracking is working, but standard reports may not have been archived or updated correctly.

Could you please provide:

• Your Matomo version and hosting environment
• Whether the missing data affects all sites or only one
• Whether the day reports are also empty, or only week/month reports
• Any output or errors from the scheduled core:archive process
• Confirmation whether the issue is still occurring

If possible, please also check whether the affected visits appear in the raw tracking/log data. This will help us determine whether the problem is related to archiving, a specific report/plugin, or the data collection process. Once we have these details, we can confirm whether there is a Matomo bug or an instance-specific configuration issue.

Thank you very much for your feedback @des-innocraft. Please note that this issue only affects one specific site. All reports for this property have been completely empty from August 25th onwards.

Because our Matomo instance is self-hosted, I unfortunately lack the required access to view the version number. Furthermore, no specific error messages are being displayed on the reports. I’ll ask for the version details. I’ve seen online that this might be linked to the archiving Cron job – I’ll also check the server’s limits.
