Some keyboard shortcuts are not working properly.

Expected behaviour
All keyboard shortcuts are working properly.
Actual behaviour
Keyboard shortcuts Ctrl+<some_num_key> do not seem to be working. I tested this by using the command that opens the calculator. When I set the shortcut Ctrl+7 (for example), the application started. However, when I changed the shortcut to Ctrl+<num_key_5>, pressing this combination of keys did not launch the program. In the Keyboard Shortcuts section, the shortcut was changed correctly and no errors occurred.
Steps to reproduce the behaviour
Change the keyboard shortcut to Ctrl+<some_num_key> and try using it.

This is happening in x11 too? I've had some problem keys in the wayland session but thought that was wayland-specific due to limitations in wayland itself

I would like to point out that the keyboard shortcuts Ctrl+7 and Ctrl+<num_key_5> in the «Window Management» section operate as intended. However, their functionality in other sections remains ambiguous. Perhaps this information may be helpful.

Same for me. I want to control sound and brightness from USB keyboard, so I remapped Shift-+/- on keypad:

xev sees it (I use X11). mate-keybinding-properties are able to recognize and bind those combinations, but they are not working, while Shift+Fn+left/right works on notebook keyboard at the same time. If I bind +/- — it works (but these keys are gone on main keyboard too).
