What Rams does

Rams is a design-focused code reviewer. On every pull request that touches UI, it reviews the changed files against 194 rules across 8 design categories, posts specific issues as inline GitHub suggestions you can accept in one click, and scores the PR so you can track design quality over time.

Aim it. Per repo, Rams reviews every PR, only PRs with a rams label, or only when someone comments @rams review. Reviews you ask for are the only ones that count against your plan.

What it checks

• Accessibility — contrast, focus states, alt text, touch targets, keyboard nav
• Typography — type scale, line height, weight, truncation
• Color — design tokens vs. hardcoded values, palette discipline, dark mode
• Spacing — concentric radii, scale adherence, depth
• Components — accessible primitives, hit areas, variants
• UX — states, input sizing, semantic elements
• Motion — reduced-motion guards, interruptible transitions
• Craft — the generic gradients, glow, and templated patterns AI defaults to

How it works

1. Open a pull request with UI changes.
2. Rams triages the changed files, deep-reviews the ones with issues, and posts inline
   one-click suggestions.
3. You get a top-level summary and a design score. PRs with no UI changes get a quiet pass.
