Bin cannot update fd

I have fd v10.1.0 installed via bin.

Now fd v10.3.0 released, but bin cannot update because the binary file is not at the top level of the tar archive.

I manually downloaded the tar file and opened it via Ark, it has a structure like this:

[Universal-Invariant]

This is a common issue with bin. You have to edit the config.json and replace the hard coded path.

"package_path": "*/fd.exe",

Unfortunately * doesn't work.

The issue, it seems, is that the app hard codes the initial file path where it finds fd.exe(or it gets it from the install name) and then tries to use that even when the binaries have been updated. The issue is when the binaries are stored in a subdirectory which uses the version number which changes with every version. The bin app does not detect this.

The issue also happens with spf.

IIRC I simply enabled it to use whatever single exe file is in the package. Not a perfect fix but works well on windows as far as I've tested.
