Installer completes but does not register go-mapi anywhere (no Default Apps entry, .MAPIMail CLSID unchanged) #9

Description

@christosNik

Environment: Windows 11

Steps taken:

  1. Downloaded and ran go-mapi-setup.exe (reinstalled several times, including reboots between attempts)
  2. go-mapi does not appear under Settings → Apps → Default apps
  3. HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\FileExts.MAPIMail\OpenWithProgids still points only to the legacy CLSID{9E56BE60-C50F-11CF-9A2C-00A0C90A90CE}, not anything go-mapi-related
  4. That CLSID's InProcServer32 under HKCR\CLSID{9E56BE60-C50F-11CF-9A2C-00A0C90A90CE} has an empty (Default) value — no DLL path at all
  5. Checked Windows Security → Protection history — no blocks or quarantine entries related to go-mapi
  6. "Send to → Mail recipient" and File Explorer's Share button both silently do nothing

Expected: go-mapi should register itself as the .MAPIMail handler and/or appear as a selectable default mail app.
