What happened?

After migrating my root partition to LUKS, I no longer get a percentage readout for free/used space. Activity graph still works. My root partition is now /dev/mapper/... instead of the raw /dev/nvme... device.

Hi @incanus, can you post what you get when running these two commands on the terminal?

df /
df / -h

First, note that I ordinarily have an alias in my .bashrc for df to auto-add the -h flag. However, I disabled this and re-logged my session and there was no change in the display.

Running df / (without the alias):

Running df / -h (or df -h /):

The fact that the activity percentage works, but not total and free storage is strange.

1. Open Looking Glass, then
2. Restart Cinnamon (Alt+F2 command r and Enter)
3. Check if there any error in the Logs of Looking Glass?

The Desklet runs /bin/df so the alias should not have an impact.
Just in case, can you execute that specific command? /bin/df /
