Feature Request: Zhuyin/Bopomofo input layout

Hi, I am a Taiwanese LPIII owner. I can't type Traditional Chinese on it today.
I need to add a Zhuyin bopomofo layout. I believe it matters for Taiwanese users.

I have a working branch: MOE bopomofo layout, composing buffer, candidate bar, real dictionary, syllable segmentation, tone-aware ranking, English path untouched, /gradlew check passes

The candidate dictionary is derived from libchewing(LGPL-2.1); repo is MIT-do the light phone team bundled with a NOTICE, or would you prefer just a layout + a pluggable candidate source without a dictionary?

We're in a similar GPL boat with the swipe library we're planning to use. The current plan is to turn the standalone IME app in this repo into a GPL licensed server which will be distributed separately from LightOS. It will have a public API so embedded keyboards running in other apps can query library data. So the UI module itself will stay MIT (and can be used without the app), but the app module will be GPL.

So for now, no dictionary, but I will reach out when we have a place to put it.

Thanks. I would open a PR with just the Zhuyin layout + a pluggable candidate source, no bundled dictionary. I will built on the repo's existing patterns, the English path is untouched. Is it OK to open a PR now?

Hi I'm a Japanese LP III user. I've wanted Japanese keyboard on it, and since finding this repo I've been thinking about whether I could contribute.

Japanese needs the same composing buffer and candidate bar you're adding here. This looks like a gap in CJK input generally, not one language's request.

I support the proposed pluggable candidate source design. With that shape, Japanese should be able to build on the same mechanism, and I'd be glad to work on the Japanese side once this groundwork is in place.
