DG: User stories not coherent with product release

It seems like AeroCade wanted to implement "see my past moves and retrace" based on the DG, however, this feature is not shown in the app. Perhaps there is a typo in the DG?

We have decided to not accept this as a bug. The logic behind this user story is that a player can scroll up, see their past moves, and formulate their strategy as they continue to play. The alternative would be if the screen refreshed/cleared every time, and thus you cannot see your past moves in the same manner as our program does.

Reason for disagreement: Hello, I seem to have trouble understanding the logic in this line.
"The alternative would be if the screen refreshed/cleared every time, and thus you cannot see your past moves in the same manner as our program does."

If I understood correctly, if the screen is cleared, users will not be able to trace their past move, wouldn't this fail to achieve your aim of allowing users to "see their past moves" and "find new strategies to win"? Based on your user stories, users might be expecting to see a certain command which enables them to view their past moves, which is not implemented.
