Implement CI/CD Pipeline

Description

Set up GitHub Actions to automate build verification and testing. Initial focus on build verification with plans to expand to include tests and style checks.

Requirements

Phase 1

• GitHub Actions workflow for build verification
• Required status check before merge to main

Future Phases

• Add automated testing
• Add code style checks
• Add binary artifacts generation

Acceptance Criteria

• Successful build verification on push to main
• Build status required for merge approval
• Build artifacts available for download

I started this here

it meets the criteria except for build artifacts, this will require more thought, for example how will config.hs be managed, should it be a nix flake or a binary etc.

I will leave the PR open until next weekend. Likely I will just take the nix flake approach to releases, and open an issue to provide a binary in the future.
