I dont really see a change

Without the mod i get 75 secs, with the mod i get 70 ish secs. How, why, when? What could be causing this not working?

What do you mean "what could be"
What mods are you even using? We can't take a guess

from my tests with the mod, it could help a little bit large instance but for small-medium instance, it's negligible
