Why pipx only?

Hello!

I'd like to try MastUI on my main computer, running Ubuntu 25.04 up to date.

If I try to install pipx I get some weird error message, starting with "[pipx install mastui](error: externally-managed-environment)"

Is it possible to have a more "standard" installation, like with apt, a snap or a flatpak?

Hi,
Not sure why you get that error - it is normally one you would see with pip and not pipx. I will look into adding deb/rpm release as well.
