Mobs are walking in the ocean way too often

I see lots of mobs walking in the middle of an ocean. I know mobs can walk on the water, but normally (in the Minecraft game) they rarely do. What I am experiencing in mineclone5 is that they go in the water and walk there just like It's grass. They probably miss related code in the AI. I attached an example image.

Just create a world with an ocean, wait some time and watch mobs walking in the ocean.

Yeah, and sometimes squids jump around(and spawn) on sand.
