No category icon in checkbox list

Hi,
i use maps2 11.0.7 for TYPO3 LTS 12 with OSM. Works fine.

I assigned to each category a certain icon. It shows in the map.
It doesn't show up in the "checkbox category list" under the map. There are the checkboxes and the category names, but a user has to find out, which icon (in the map) belongs to which category.

Can i change this in the OpenStreetMap2.js? If yes - how do i include the category icon?

And another question: can i include my own OpenStreetMap2.js (e.g. for using grayscale)?

I tried to change the path via TS-Setup (maps2 = EXT:my_sitepackage/Resources/Public/JavaScript/OpenStreetMap2.min.js), but it doesn't work.
I have to edit the original js. It works, but i have to remember this when updating to LTS13 and the appropriate Maps2-Version.

I remember that I add the checkbox list dynamically. Yeah, with todays knowledge that's no fun anymore. Sorry. If I will change that, I will try to get that into Fluid template directly and then we can look how to implement the icons there. Until know you have to change that in the JS file directly.

Maybe you also have to remove the maps2.type line.

In TS constants you can change the OpenStreetMap tiles. No need to modify the JS files for that:

That's maybe because of the type = module line in TS. Please remove that.

The functions name is showSwitchableCategories, but within this function you do not have access to the related poiCollection anymore. This is needed to access the related category icon. Sorry. This will need a little bit more afford than I thought of. Hopefully you will find a solution for you, but that's nothing I can solve you within the next few minutes.

My knowledge in js is not enough to apply changes, but i found a pragmatic solution.

in OpenStreetMap2.min.js i changed:
<div class="checkbox"> <label> <input type="checkbox" class="checkCategory" id="checkCategory_${t.uid}" checked="checked" value="${t.uid}"> </label> </div>

into

<div class="checkbox"> <label class="maps2 map_${t.uid}"> <input type="checkbox" class="checkCategory" id="checkCategory_${t.uid}" checked="checked" value="${t.uid}"> </label> </div>

and defined the icons then via CSS (as background-images of 'span class="map-category"').

No automatic and no stylish solution, but it works for me. For this case i have to handle only max. 5 categories ...
