Was trying to setup this plugin and wanted the cache to be in a folder I keep utilities and such in. I thought I misspelled it so I held backspace. Suddenly, the vault closed and Obsidian opened the manage vaults window, with my usual vault nowhere to be seen. I restored it with "open vault from Obsidian Sync" which worked but did not restore my utility folder. Looking at the log files for Sync, the folder was deleted. But despite having "send files to system trash" selected, the folder and its files was nowhere to be found, and as I hadn't edited most of them in a long time they couldn't be restored from sync (very frustrating, but at least non of my actual notes were in there).
So I backed up my vault and went to try setup the plugin again. The plugin gave an error and couldn't be loaded, and also couldn't uninstall. I deleted the plugin folder manually. Reinstalled. Went to edit the cache folder and noticed it creating the cache folder as I typed, then deleting it; so of course once I finished typing out my utility folder's name (which is "_Vault" if it matters) it was nuked. I tried holding backspace to replicate the first crash but no dice, so I'm not sure what happened there.
Editː Tried to edit the empty cache folder field and it deleted the vault again. I believe both times I was using the wrong keyboard and typed a combining diacritic character.
