Adaptive lighting recognizes when a light is set to some brightness or color by something else than itself. It then puts those lights into a list in the attribute "Manual control" in the main entity switch.
I would like to suggest something similar for Magic Areas, so that if any light or climate entity is turned on or off by something else than Magic areas, it puts this entity into a manual list and doesn't touch them until they are switched to the opposite. E.g. presence turned lights on in the living room and I manually turn off one corner light then it goes manual until I switch it on again when MA wants it on or MA turns the room off, matching the off state of the manually switched entity.
Or I had a dog walk in the rain and turn the climate control for the bedroom manually to air exchange, so the fans start. MA should notice that and NOT immediately turn it off because it's not in sleep mode so I don't later have a bedroom smelling like wet dogs 😆 . It should then put the climate entity in manual mode until its status fits, e.g. system goes into sleep mode and in the morning when sleep mode turns off, MA can control the climate setting again.
Doesn't have to be exactly like that but just MA noticing manual changes and not reversing them because they don't fit the room profile would be nice.
