Official markdown support

Instead of learning yet another new syntax, can we have markdown as an option or the default?

I noticed the Codemirror plugin issue, but that's not something built in natively.

The feature that is missing for me as well, and is definitely necessary to persuade users of other similar solutions to try and switch to TiddlyRoam :o)

@torzak since this looks abandoned 3 years ago, you may want to solve this by going up a level with the desktop client:

• Download TiddlyDesktop
• install the markdown plugin
• then open TiddlyRoam.html

Sounds great @torzak and @vRobM! I don't have time for the next couple of months to implement this but I'd be super happy for a pull request to add this. Are either of you interested in doing that?
