Logging

The package classes don't have logging currently. I was thinking of adding some logging which is written to a log file.

Do you think it is relevant?

I noticed that the new implementation has two model_logs folders. One folder is present outside of models while the other is present inside the folder and contains batch_runs. Should I move them into one folder inside models or leave the setup as is?
