In some cases, we will want to have some parameters defined in a different (coarser) resolution grid. The idea is that we can move from high to low resolution by doing some spatial interpolation over e.g. the IFOV. This is basically something that happens in the definition of the H operator, I just wonder whether a formal definition of the state grid per parameter is sensible, or it's just left an exercise to the reader...
